POEM: MY FRIENDMy Friend My lonely soul is shivering in despair I have never in my life made a more precious sarifice I have given my heart away the heart that was once mine Forever am I indebt to you I gave you my heart and you took it away I gave you my soul and you gave me nothing you only gave me a reason to suffer Cleverly you lurk in the dark you reach your own goals you destroy other people's lives you feed on others' happiness I beg you to teach me what suffering means I ask you to lend me my heart back I want to experience pain again I want to know what pain really is I sit down and think how lucky I was to be human to feel for others to feel myself my stolen self I promise you with everything that is still left in me that soon the day will come that soon my friend it will be your turn to suffer and then a heartless person that I have become I will watch you unable to sympathize anymore; I will look at you from where I am I will laugh at you I will drink in yout toast I will even celebrate your misery And then I promise you that I will repay my debt that I will tear your heart off as you have once done to me I will make you cry until your eyes wear out I will make you scream till your voice fades away I will make you witness yourself dwarf I will make you witness yourself die slowly I promise you that the day will come when you will helplessly come ask me what friends are for when you will come to me on your knees crying, pleading my forgiveness begging me to forget what you have done to me and I assure you that mercy will have no road to my soul that revenge will be all that I see; it will be everything that you witness |
